Shopping at HEB can be tricky because they have their own coupons, but you can have significant savings.
TYPES OF HEB COUPONS
HEB has their own coupons called "yellow coupons". If you shop at HEB you have probably seen them plastered throughout the store. These coupons can only be found and redeemed at HEB stores.
There are two types of HEB yellow coupons:
"M" Coupons: In the lower right hand corner of the coupon, you will see the letter "M". This stands for Manufacturer. M Coupons can not be combined with other coupons.
"B" Coupons: In the lower right hand corner of the coupon, you will see the letter "B". This stands for Big Savings. B Coupons can be combined with other coupons.
You can also find HEB coupons in their monthly magazine that is available at the entrances by the weekly sales ads.

HEB sales run Wednesday to Wednesday.

Here is an example of a transaction at HEB using HEB coupons and manufacturer coupons.
1 Maybelline Lip Gloss $2.99
Use 1 HEB "B" Coupon for $2/1 Maybelline
Use 1 Manufacturer Coupon for $1/1 Maybelline
Total: FREE!
This was an actual transaction, so it is possible!
COMBO LOCO
Every week HEB offers "Combo Loco" deals where if you buy item A, you can get items B, C & D for free.
There are occasionally good deals, and the deals get better when combined with coupons.
Note, you can not use coupons on free items at HEB.
Here is an example:
Combo Loco: Buy Kellogs Pop Tarts and get HEB Pop Tarts free
If you use a coupon for the Kellogs Pop Tarts, your deal will be even better and the savings greater.
Combo Loco deals are not always a great deal! Be sure to research what the items would really cost and make sure you are buying something you need and will use.
