Gum, Floss and Razors!

Coupon shopping at Wal-Mart can be tricky because the policies vary from store to store (although they shouldn't)

Here is how my Wal-Mart trip went today:

4 Mentos Up2U Gum ($1.28 each)
4 Oral B Floss ($.97 each)
5 Schick Razor 12 packs ($1.97 each)
Total before coupons: $18.41


Coupons used:
4 $1/1 Mentos Gum
4 $1/1 Oral B Floss
5 $2/1 Schick Razors
Total after coupons: $0.88!


If your coupon is greater than the item price, Wal-Mart allows that overage to be applied to the rest of your transaction.

I wanted to buy KY that is $2.47 (and use a $3/1 coupon) and BIC pens that are $.97 (and use $1/1 coupon) but the shelves were clear. You snooze you lose!
