Where to Find Coupons

So you have probably seen "the show". The extremists have stacks and stacks of coupons. Where do they get them?
There are several places to get coupons:

NEWSPAPER
This is a given. Almost every weekend, your local Chronicle should include coupon inserts.
The different type of inserts are:
P&G Brandsaver (PG)
Redplum (RP)
Smartsource (SS, SS1 or SS2)
General Mills (GM)
There are a few others like Target Coupons and such but those are the most common. You will not get all inserts every week.
You can also get an early edition of the newspaper on Saturday and that should contain the coupon inserts.
Be sure to check your paper before buying to make sure the coupons have not magically disappeared!
I usually purchase four papers every Saturday and have one delivered on Sunday.
If there will not be a good sale or there will not be any coupon inserts, I will limit how many I buy or not buy any at all.

ONLINE  PRINTABLES
You can also print coupons online. Prints are usually limited to 2 per computer.
You can find coupons at:
Coupons.com
Redplum.com
Smartsource.com
Target.com/coupons
Cvs.com/coupons

You will have to download coupon print activators before printing coupons. You will only have to do this once.

FACEBOOK
It is a good idea to "like" your favorite companies and brands on Facebook. Companies are now releasing Facebook Fan only coupons that you can print from your computer.

DUMPSTER DIVING
Yes. People dive into dumpsters and dig out coupons. I do not and I do not condone this. It can be dangerous and is illegal in some counties.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
You can always ask family and friends to give you their extra coupons!

ONLINE COUPON RETAILERS
Coupon clipping services clip coupons and you can purchase clipped coupons or whole inserts.
This is a good idea if you need extra coupons for a certain item and do not want to buy whole newspapers or it is too late to buy a newspaper.
Keep in mind that you usually have to pay shipping and you want to make sure you order your coupons so that they will arrive to you before the sale you want to use them on is over.
You can find coupons on E-Bay.
My personal favorite coupon clipper is CouponDede.com.

MAIL/E-MAIL
Companies usually have a newsletter that you can sign up for on their website.
I like to use an email address created just for coupons so I am not bombarded with spam messages in my regular inbox.
Occasionally, companies will mail or email their subscribers exclusive coupons.
You can also write or call companies and ask if they will send you coupons.

Keep your eyes peeled because you can find coupons in all sorts of places!

Happy Shopping!
